What is DoveWriters?

DoveWriters is an online community exclusively for Christian Creators. It's a place where you can share your faith-based writing with other believers, hone your skill, and curate your craft.

Your Writer's Suite (a group of 3-6 writers) will have it's own folder, and in that folder each Writing Partner will have their own document. You'll write in your document, and comment on the documents belonging to your Writing Partners.

All members are also added to our private Facebook group for ongoing, lifetime craft talk. 

Why do I need DoveWriters?

Writing can be lonely. It can feel self-indulgent and sometimes even self-abusive (you know what I mean - when we start telling ourselves how much we suck? Yeah. That.)

But writing is also meant to be interactive. Like all of the arts, it needs an artist and an audience. Sometimes your work isn't ready for a "real" audience, but the chords it strikes need to resonate somewhere. And sometimes, "out there in the world" just isn't a safe enough place.

That's where DoveWriters comes in. 

We provide the platform for writers of faith to come and share their faith journeys, their craft, and yes, even their doubts with other, like-minded souls. 

Who can join?

Anyone can join, however, we only have a limited number of spots available for each Write In. It is highly suggested that you apply early, as all applicants are reviewed and accepted on a first come, first serve basis. 

What is the time commitment? 

When you join DoveWriters, you ARE making a commitment -- to your own work AND to your Writing Partners. It's important that you are ready and willing to not just write generously, but to read and comment generously as well. The Writer's Suite does not work otherwise. Please do not register for this program if you are not ready to participate fully.

That said, the rhythm of work is yours to set. Write when you want, just post every Monday. Be sure to come back and complete your commentary on other's work before the next Monday's posting. 

What if I don't want my Writer's Suite to end?

Don't worry! Just let us know you want to continue, and you won't have to pay another application fee (if you leave for a while and come back, however, the application fee still applies). 

While we can't guarantee all of your writing partners will stay together, we are so happy when writers do decide to continue. 

What if I don't like it? 

We doubt that will happen, but we want you to be happy! If you really don't like it, you can cancel your subscription. But we ask you to seriously consider that choice. Remember -- you're not just signing up for yourself, but for your Writing Partners, too. They'll miss you. 

Please note, if you are successfully matched with a Writer's Suite and then choose not to participate, your application fee is non-refundable. No refunds for months spent in a Suite will be given, but we will cancel your subscription if you ask us to.

Am I guaranteed a seat in a Writer's Suite?

No. We can only accept a certain number of members in order to maintain the quality of the program. For that reason, you may not be accepted in the Write In you apply for. Don't be discouraged! You may still be accepted for the next Write In -- in fact, your application will be one of the first to be reviewed. 

How much does it cost?

There is a one-time application fee of $99. As long as you remain in a Writer's Suite, you do not need to re-apply after each 3-month Write In. 

Professional Writers Suite: $99.97/mo or $249 (save $50!) for the entire 3-Month Write In.

When does the next Write-In Start?

2. Within 24 business hours, you'll receive an email letting you know you have been accepted, and inviting you to set up your monthly subscription (which will automatically stop after 3 months).
